BJ Haisten
BJ is a Member and Principal of Freestone Construction where he is responsible for all aspects of the business.
Prior to starting Freestone, BJ spent 12 years at Brasfield and Gorrie where he managed teams and construction projects across multiple market sectors including commercial office, sports and entertainment facilities, industrial and multifamily. Before that he was the Clement Group, overseeing construction of office and industrial projects at military and government facilities across the country.
BJ lives in Smyrna with his wife Emily and their 3 children.
Community Involvement: Leadership Cobb (Cobb Chamber), Trinity Anglican Church, and Smyrna Little League.
Educations and Accreditations: Auburn University, BS; LEED AP
David Knight
David Knight is the Managing Member of Freestone Construction where he advises on all aspects of the business.
Before David started Freestone, he was a partner and Chief Development Officer at Walton Communities for over 25 years. While at Walton, David developed over 7,000 apartment communities and started two successful in house construction companies.
David lives in the Haynes Manor Neighborhood of Atlanta with his wife, Jeni. He has two adult children and five grandkids.
